After a strong preseason the boys were raring to go and started strong. From the first whistle we put pressure on MC and created chances for Clarence and Sean inside the first 10 minutes.

We scored direct from a corner kick from Sean McGowan, while Luca claimed he got a touch with his head the majority think it was Seans goal lol!

Ethan and Paul both had chances to double the lead, before Clarence excellently controlled the ball then played a pin point pass in behind the defence for Sean, who beat the defender and his strike went in off the post.

HT 2-0

Second half MC scored straight after the half and we took 10 minutes to settle back into the game. Ryley and Peter combined on the right before Peter cut the ball back for the incoming Elvis who placed his shot passed the keeper. 3-1

We continued to create chances with Peter, Ryley Liam all having attempts and Jordan C shot just missing the far post.

We thought we had a 4th after Peter picked out Ethan in the box, his glancing header destined for the top corner was outrageously saved by the keeper to keep it 3-1.

Overall great first performance of the season. Looked really solid at the back, strong in midfield and created lots of chances up top. Well done everyone.
