We were trying to play, just the final pass over hit and the high press causes us difficulty. In the midfield Paul, Ethan and Elvis were linking up well just any breaks of the ball were falling to Gartcain.

Andy was making some excellent challenges against the quick forward and Shay was getting us out from the back by linking up with Ethan in the midfield very well.

We went 1-0 down after we were dispossessed in midfield and the through ball found the striker who beat the offside to place into the corner past big Zac.

Elvis then laid Adrian off to put him through 1 on 1 with the full back only for a last gasp tackle stopping him playing in Lucas.

HT 1-0 Gartcairn

Second half we started winning more battles in midfield, Ryley and Mackenzie were giving us great width and getting us further up the pitch.

After 50 mins we found ourself 2-0 down. A break of the ball fell to the Gartcain midfielder outside the box who smashed his shot into the net.

We welcomed Sean back from injury and he had an instant impact. Elvis and Ethan linked up before Ethan’s through ball found Sean who dinked it passed the on coming keeper.

Seans strength and pace was really driving us forward. Clarence and Luca played a neat 1-2 before playing in Sean again. This time he was brought down at the edge of the box.

Ethan Kelly’s free kick was well saved by the keeper only to drop to Mackenzie, his cut back found Luca to smash in the equaliser.

We really took confidence from that goal and an attack by Max on the left found it’s way to Ethan Kelly, we had 5 BC bursting forward for the 3rd goal when Elvis was brought down at the edge of the box.

Ethan Kelly stepped up to expertly place his free kick over the wall into the top corner.

3-2, Lucas dropped back into defence and helped Lewis and Andy to great effect. The boys were really giving everything to the end!

Unfortunately with the very last kick of the ball Gartcain got a free kick out wide left. The free kick was curled into the top bin!

Great result today against a team sitting 3rd in the A division.
